Chemical Peeling and Chemical Peel

What is a  Chemical Peel?

A chemical mask chosen right for your needs.

A chemical peel is a delicate yet effective chemical mask that is placed on your skin which will eventually be safely exfoliated to leave you with youthful smooth skin. The peel will be removing dead skin cells, small scars, dark spots, fine lines that naturally occur due to aging, hormone, and sun exposure. Your skin is as unique as you are which is why we have three types of chemical peels to fit your skin needs.

Chemical Peel Benefits

Benefits a  Chemical Peel Provides

If you deal with acne, a chemical peel will help treat it. Since a chemical peel exfoliates deep into the skin the peel penetrates deep to treat the problem areas. Peels help minimize pores and reduce the appearance of visible pores. It can help erase the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and help fade discoloration. One main benefit of a chemical peel is that it helps soothe any scarring that you may have, along with balancing any texture you may have, to smooth the skin.

Frequently Ask Questions

Obagi Blue Radiance Peel is most suited for those with more superficial skin problems like dull skin, scars, and others. Once you’ve visited our team, we can give you a professional opinion on which service is best for you.

The chemical peel process usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour from start to finish. We conduct the procedure quickly and effectively so you can continue your daily routine.

You should wash your face with cool water, we recommend cool water so that it can soothe and calm your skin. Moisturize and hydrate your face both in the morning and at night, along with applying SPF 30 or more if you decide to be in the sun for the day. Avoid working out or any type of exercise, where you will produce sweat that can clog your pores or produce sebum.

Do not over-exfoliate your skin. Exfoliation should be done once or twice a week and never more. Most importantly, when you get a chemical peel, your skin will peel, DO NOT pick at your skin.

Chemical peels, when done well, do not have to be done very frequently. Typically, 1-2 weeks is a perfect time for most. Of course, this all depends on your specific skin type, skin condition, products used, and more. You should talk with a professional to get more specialized skin care advice.
